AIDS Fund in which 100 percent of the sales are donated
to men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS. To date
the fund has raised over $59 million CDN.
In just one month after announcing Pamela
Anderson as the newest face of VIVA GLAM, almost $1.8
million CDN was generated for the fund.
"I am honored to be back in my home
country to participate in this year's Fashion Cares, I
feel privileged and empowered to help raise funds and
awareness on the importance for Getting Tested. Everyone,
everywhere, has to Get Tested. It's the responsible choice.
Knowing also helps stop spreading the disease that has
no cure... yet," Pamela Anderson said in a statement.
"Pamela's stage entrance is going
to be very theatrical and fun!" says show producer
and executive director of special events at M.A.C Cosmetics
Phillip Ing. "It is sure to be the best moment in
Fashion Cares history."
