Vice Chancellor, L B Venkatrangan informed
that the Annamalai University announced to offer specialized
courses in textile, interior and fashion designing.
NIFD director, Rishi Aggarwal explained,
the institute, government recognized, intends to offer
quality education in fashion and interior design. Students
of any stream, passing their tenth or plus two exam can
get admission in the institute and make bright career.
Niharika Singh, who participated in India
at the Miss Earth pageant along Femina miss, Sindhura
Gadde explained that the 'NIFD helps students pursue quality
education right at their doorstep'.
'We are offering three-year B.S, 2 years
Advance Diploma and one-year Diploma programmes in Fashion
Design, Textile Design and Interior Design,' said Aditi
Srivastava, vice president, NIFD corporate.
NIFD also offers three specialized courses
in Apparel Manufacturing Marketing and Merchandising,
Garment Manufacturing Technology,Knitwear Design and Technology.
