HONG KONG: Organised
by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the
Hong Kong Fashion Week for Spring/Summer will be held
from July 12 to 15, 2005 at the Hong Kong Convention and
Exhibition Centre.
It will feature more than 750 exhibitors
from 16 countries and regions, including pavilions from
the Chinese mainland, India, Korea, Macau, and Taiwan.
On display will be merchandise ranging
from T-shirts to high-end apparel, budding designers'
collections to renowned brands, plus fashion accessories
including fabrics and costume jewellery. Highlights will
be the two special sections showcasing "bridal & evening
wear" and "body and intimate wear".
As the largest of its kind in Asia, the
fair will host five seminars covering topics such as future
trends and the latest industry news.
Furthermore, a series of fashion parades
will showcase branded collections and signature pieces
of designers worldwide.
