Australia’s fashion retailer Noni B
Limited announced expects the company's profit after tax
for the year to 30 June 2005 will be between 35 per cent
and 40 per cent above the previous year, when profit after
tax was $4.4 million.
This will follow profit increases of
48.2 per cent in 2003/4, 41.2 per cent in 2002/3 and 22.4
per cent in 2001/2. Mr Alan Kindl, managing director of
Noni B, said: 'The strong sales growth achieved in the
first half has continued in the second half. We attribute
this to our detailed understanding of our customers' expectations,
continued strict inventory control, growing awareness
of our Noni B and Liz Jordan brands and the appeal of
our winter ranges.
They are continuing to expand our national
store network and expect to open a further seven stores
during the remainder of calendar 2005, bringing the total
to 185.' Noni B Limited, founded in 1977, is one of Australia’s
