British rocker PETE DOHERTY left VOGUE
magazine editors fuming when he failed to attend a London
fashion shoot.
The troubled BABYSHAMBLES singer was
due to be photographed alongside his former THE LIBERTINES
bandmate CARL BARAT, SHANE MacGOWAN, THE CLASH star MICK
JONES and THE POGUES guitarist SPIDER STACEY - but he
stood them up after rowing with manager JAMES MULORD.
Vogue magazine had flown in photographers
and make-up artists from around the world for the shoot,
as well as creating an exclusive wardrobe of designer
clothes for Doherty to wear - but they waiting in vain
at London's Boogaloo pub where the shoot was to take place.
An insider tells Britain's THE SUN newspaper,
"The people from Vogue were really angry. They had
spent thousands flying the best people in the world to
London. They'd also shipped in a huge wardrobe of designer
clothes for Pete to be pictured in.
"But he had a huge bust-up with
his manager in the afternoon. Pete kept everyone waiting
all day then did a no-show."
