The 24th Miss World Pageant was held on November 22, 1974 in the Royal Albert Hall, London, England. Helen Elizabeth Morgan represented the United Kingdom and became the second Welsh and the fourth United Kingdom woman to win. She resigned four days later on discovery that she had a child. Although this did not violate the rules, she was made to resign. |
