On Nov. 5, 2008, evening in the Golden Hall of Beijing Hotel, NE.TIGER raised the screen of the China Fashion Week for the 7th successive year. As the designer of Chinese-inspired fashion, NE.TIGER sustained last year's theme of "The National Beauty in China's national dress" by addressing its 2009 collection with "The National Beauty captured in Hua Fu", featuring an personification of the quest for the new beginning and modernization of Chinese luxury expressed by the words of NE.TIGER founder Mr. Zhang Zhifeng.
The background of this year's show gives a harmonious blend of the fashion and modern art, while gaining all the original superb charm of the Golden Hall, with a play of light over the 1000-sq-meter stage that provided freedom and space for breath-taking expression.
The highlights of the night was NE.TIGER chief designer Zhang Zhifeng appearing together with two of dressmaking's elder statesmen; one, Wang Yuxiang, the master responsible for the existence of the Kesi skills that were on the rim of extinction, the other was, Wang Jialiang, the fifth generation of a family of Kesi practitioners whose folks made clothes for royal family in history.
