CALGARY – Are you looking to walk the walk while you talk this summer? Then do so in fashion and choose up one of a lot of styles of the wedge shoe/sandal.
Wedge fashion isn't essentially new, having enjoyed irregular popularity in the '70s and '80s.
But it is absolutely back with a "wedgeance."
Richard Olicker, president of wholesale for Kenneth Cole Productions, likes the new styles.
"There are chunky shoes and there are platform shoes. That's a trend that's coming at us in many variations - cork, raffia, straw - with foot beds placed on top of them.''
