This morning FASHION FRINGE publicized its four finalists, having searched for London's brightest talent since April. Gavin Douglas, Stephen Harper, Six and Seven Eighths and Antonio Santana were among the 10 semi-finalists whittled down from more than 270 entries – and now they'll be up against each other on the catwalk during London Fashion Week in September in a proposal to triumph the third Fringe title.
Jonathan Saunders who was joined on the panel by Joseph Velosa, Susannah Frankel and Susanne Tide-Frater said "We feel that the four we have selected are true to the Fashion Fringe ideal and will formulate a fantastic show at London Fashion Week in September, and beyond". Past winners of the prize, Basso & Brooke and Erdem, now enjoy international fashion status as a result of it. (June 5 2006, AM)
